Weapons Carried:
Anthiara's hands alone could be considered weapons, and are often used as such if the enemy is near enough. Normally used to extract information with a throat-clutch or poke an opponent in a rather unpleasant place, her hands and fingers are metal and as flexible as hands made of flesh. The difference is the cold harsh feeling of the metal, and the dangerously sharp tips on her fingers. Beware; at random times, she places poison upon them, anywhere from a quick-kill to a mere tranquiliser.
Some foes choose to fight from a distance, however, and for these Anthiara has two scimitars prepared at Anthiara's sides, ready to be clutched in a near-second and razor-sharp as her finger's own tips. After a fateful outing with a misflung scimitar, though, she added a slight electromagnetic field to her hands, able to pull the scimitars back into her hands if the need arises.
The fields are only attuned to her hands, but not entirely perfected. Nothing's gone particularly screwy yet, but that could change with a skilled hit on just the right spot or an ill-timed malfunction.
-=SPECIAL SKILLS=-
Anthiara is a fountain of Mobian trivia, her earlier years spent in the Legion's databanks. She still spends some time in there; while her duties keep her in other pursuits, she tries to retain much of her knowledge. Much of this, however, is purely trivia - only a few of Mobius' races have the dubious honor of meeting her, and most of these are from the Floating Isle.
Anthiara also retains some of her technician experience - while it is not her main profession, Anthi still recalls and occasionally reaffirms her former duties. She is, after all, mostly a robotic body, and takes careful care of her new semblance of life.
-=SPECIAL ABILITIES=-
Magic? Psionics? Not Anthi.
For magic, she'd prefer a good blaster at her side.
For psionics, she's intimidating enough already - and that's withOut psychic powers.
-=SPECIAL WEAKNESSES=-
While a concentrated EMP burst could conceivably send Anthiara spiraling into a dull brainless stupor, lesser EMPs can temporarily cancel certain areas of her brain. While Anthiara's pain centers are reset to a more tolerable level at the beginning and ending of each day, there are times when the equipment is inoperable or she is forced to leave the base for an extended period of time. After that, even Anthiara's willpower can only go so far..
OOC: Is resetting a good idea? Would it beat her brain down in the long run, or would it enhance her resistance to EMPs? o.o Anthiara could control herself easily enough by herself - but this, if it wouldn't hurt in the long run, seems a good excuse.
Her hands have a pulsing of their own, coordinated with her scimitars' hilts. While the hilts themselves are not fragile, the pulse is; a simple swat could make the pulsing temporarily stop. In the center of her hands lies the pulses' origin; her hands are less fragile, but more dangerous ... if hit, the pulsing can backlash and shoot unintended waves to her brain. A swat here could make her wobble offkilter, but a more solid punch could make her unconscious, and a gunshot could even ... eh ... make there be no Anthiara no mo.
Anthiara has another weakness, but a much less exploited one. The eight tight bands around her dreadlocks, if ever removed, would likely disconnect her mind from her body. It seems likely that replacing them would reconnect her body and mind - but Anthiara is not particularly impatient to try, and anyone who messes with her bands can expect at least a bit of retaliation.
